Massachusetts State has started a vaccination program against COVID-19, and eligible candidates can check Mass.gov COVID Vaccine Schedule online to book an appointment. Governor Charlie Baker administration has released a new report mentioning that over one million residents are newly eligible for COVID-19 vaccination.
The administration also confirmed that from Thursday, eligible Massachusetts residents of 65 years and above and those with more than two medical conditions could schedule their appointment for COVID-19 vaccination at any authorized vaccination center.

Mass.gov is the official website of Massachusetts State, and all information regarding the vaccine and immunization can be accessed online via this government website. As per the official website, there are two vaccines of the COVID-19 virus, which are authorized for emergency use across the state of Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (Immunization Wing) is working closely with the Center for Disease Control to ensure that the vaccine is quickly accessible to residents in the state.

Appointments are scheduled for an early morning at 8 am, Thursday. Over 70,000 eligible residents were expected to reach the vaccination site because the announcement confirmed that over one million people are newly eligible for the vaccination program.
Phase One and Phase Two Vaccination Eligibility

- Residents of 65 years and above, health workers, and low-income staff are eligible for vaccination, effective from 18th February Thursday.
- Residents of 16 years and above with two or more than two medical ailments are also eligible for vaccination in the Phase one program
- Residents with chronic conditions, including Asthma, Diabetes, Cancer, Chronic Kidney Diseases, Down Syndrome, COPD, Pregnancy, Obesity, Heart Diseases, Immune compromised states, Sickle Cell Disease, and smoking, are also eligible for vaccination under the Phase two program.

The state government estimated that over 70000 eligible residents would appear at the mass vaccination center. The page allows the residents to find the nearest vaccination site and schedule their vaccination appointment.
Eligible residents who cannot schedule their appointment for vaccination online can call the “211” helpline number and follow the IVR instructions to schedule vaccine appointments.
It has been estimated that presently, there are more than 170 vaccination sites across the nation. Over 95% of Massachusetts’ population resides within a 30-45 min drive from the vaccination centers. Eligible residents won’t find it challenging to book their appointment for vaccination.
