Until lately, a medical mask was something synonymous with medical procedures! However regardless of the season, a standard item you will find familiar on people’s faces in a “MASK”. You can thank this development to the consistent rise in a decrease in air quality. The more recent Coronavirus scare has all wondering if a face mask is going to solve our problem!
The question arises, will any mask suffice? Will a surgical mask protect you from the worst pollutants out there? The most harmful of contaminants are smaller than what is visible to the naked eye, PM 2.5 to be exact.
These PM 2.5 particles can very quickly enter your lungs and then your bloodstream as their absorption is much more comfortable. Making a respirator mask is your best bet in such a case.
One such is the N95; the number signifies how much of much the mask can filter out.
Once fit snugly on your nose and mouth, it filters out the air you breathe.

What is the Oxybreath Pro Face Mask?
It is a reusable mask is made up of 5 layers of activated carbon filters. The breath you take when strolling the local market, or even jogging is filtered and protected. Most masks will be seen having a gaping hole near the nose when you put them on! Would that even be ideal protection? The polluted air enters the mask unfiltered from the top.

But..... You're charging $50 for ONE MASK 😂😂👌👌👌 PRICE GOUGING AT ITS FINEST
Thank you........you are so correct....i will not pay this much for something that i really have no idea will work.
selling on amazon for 5 dollars
But, is the Amazon mask a 'knock-off' or is it exactly the same mask? Looks can be deceiving. Even if they look alike or close to it, doesn't mean it will do the job as well as this one does. However, there is NO way I will pay $50.00 for a mask!
I ordered "Two" of the same 5 layer pm2.5 n95 mask with 10 carbon filters on amazon prime (ships free) and only paid 20.00 today april 2 2020.
Check amazon first. Shop around!
just so y'all know this mask wont work no matter what filter is in it because it has no seal at all, a giant gap between the bridge of your nose and your face on either side. you can see it in the pictures. don't buy this please.
stay safe :)
Throwaway: I got two of these from ebay and they were cheaper and delivered from China.
Price gouging is all over the place. I wouldn't buy these masks from here.
Different face structures will cause a mask to fit differently. This one finally fits my face with no gap.
It's the 2nd that fit decently (1st is an N95 for mowing). We have two other cloth-type masks that
were useless to me. One was free and the other came from ebay. I got a refund on the ebay masks
as that was the promise from the seller and he came through with his word.
My only issue is I need to loop the open end of the straps that hook over my ears (they're made to do this)
better but 99% of people won't have that issue.
I got two other masks and it didn't fit my thinner face at all and the charges were reversed on the mask.
It did fit my spouse.
Last regarding we don't know if this will even work. My opinion is we need to protect other people. Any kind of mask
lessens the distance cough or sneeze or breath reaches. That's what the "real" CDC and W.H.O. says.
Wow can you say "Rip Off" you should be reported to the feds for price gouging!
Most likely made in China. Not giving a dime to them. Probably another rip off, substandard product.
This is very misleading. PLEASE DONT BUY- DOES NOT HAVE PROPER SEAL AT NOSE. Stay safe!
they claim to be NIOSH approved N95 mask, however they are NOT listed on NIOSH's site as such.
Just bought two off ebay for $9 each with extra filters. Rip off..
Total rip off, do not buy from here.
This ad never addresses the difference in N95 vs PM2.5. PM2.5 refers to particle size 2.5 microns. N95 is a industrial and NIOSH standard that it will filter 95% of particles at 0.3 microns. Much smaller than PM 2.5.
Corona virus is ~ 0.1 micron. (.06-1.2 microns).
Published studies have never directly looked at the ability of N95 masks to filter corona but they do filter similar virus particles and in the real world were reasonably effective at protecting healthcare workers. (Some studies showed HCW came down with the flu while working with N95's, others showed up to 15%. ) Surgical or medical masks help some but up to 5-40% of HCW did come down with the flu.
Cotton tea shirts also can help but range is more 20-60%. Much depends on duration of exposure and proper use and hand hygiene.
In the end, this ad does not tell you the effect on virus particles, misuses the term PM 2.5 and this should be used with consideration as you spend your money.
Stay safe.
